QUALITY

Quality and safety are important values at Coek. Quality controls take place on a permanent basis, both by Coek’s own quality managers and by external, independent inspection agencies. Typical quality controls are dye-penetrant testing, magnetic particle examination, manual ultrasonic inspection  and radiography. This latter technique however is nowadays mostly replaced by the more advanced semi-automatic ultrasonic examination. This technique combines phased array pulse echo and TOFD (” Time of flight diffraction”) with 2 big advantages: it is not only more sensitive than radiography but it is also much safer. The end goal of all these controls is to prove our renowned world class fabrication quality. ‘

Coek stands for excellence and for state-of-the-art equipment and is the proud holder of ISO 9001 ASME U, U2, UM, PED and ML quality certificates.
